Howard Eskin of WIP radio in Philly reports that the Eagles could sign quarterback Brett Favre as a backup to Mike Vick, after Kevin Kolb is shipped out of town.

Sources told Eskin, who serves as a sideline reporter for the team's radio broadcasts, that it's "possible" the Eagles will sign Favre.

The move would reunite Favre with Andy Reid, who was an assistant with the Packers before becoming a head coach in 1999.

I heard they spoke with him but that it was a long shot. You know the way Vick plays Brett would see some time on the field. Personally I'd love it.

I like how Vick says he can learn how to read defenses from the old man. Maybe somebody should tell him he's an old man and if he would have actually played the position instead of running around he would have learned it by now.

UGH!!! Why am I even posting or any of us because BF is just not worth posting on.
Same reason the media will report on him I guess because it is somewhat newsworthy.
I hope the media does not make this a big NFL story.
BF, I have no respect for. It is long time past his due to leave the stage.
He had , has a great career for the records, but instead of going out on a high note, he is one of those who is going out a loser because he doesn't want to leave. He didn't want to leave when he should have.
If BF wants to play ball and any team is dumb enough to sign him, great. If BF wants to start eating baby food now,etc. abusing his body in the NFL, GREAT!!!
If he wants four 22-26 yr.old 300lb.each men coming at him like a train and toss him like a feather and ponce on him, fine.

Why want one of those kids he practice with break his leg so he can't come back. Who in the hell want a 40 year old back up QB. He's not coming back why can't they just let this guy go away.
