I believe, like most here, that it won't be lack of talent that will derail him. It will be the issues he's facing now with the lawsuit and I believe a big new contract will give him license to add to the off field problems. I just don't see him handling sudden fame and fortune very well.

I think the Vince young comparison has some merit, only because of the attitude. Jameis is more talented, as a passer, than Vince was. He could be anywhere from out of the league in 3 years to probowl-ish, can't say for sure, but between him and MM, I'd take the shot on JW. Unless you can allow MM to come in and sit for 2 years and learn the game and improve. If you're going to do that though, then why draft him so early...??

BTW- I heard we brought in the dude from Baylor, and the guy I really like GG.

What do you guys think of those two?

Who's "everybody"? Other than his athleticism, being the de-facto leader at QB and throwing more interceptions than usual, I haven't seen/heard anyone talk about him in a real leadership sense, #shrug. After you get past his athletic talent, there isn't much there, IMO ... surrounded by a bunch of camp followers who are prepping him for a big initial payday if you ask me, and who will undoubtedly jump ship when that pony quits paying.
