Eagles to sign Pro Bowl center first, source says

Word is that LeCharles Bentley of the New Orleans Saints will sprout Eagles' wings as soon as NFL free agents can sign.By Bob BrookoverInquirer Staff WriterThe Eagles will have to wait a few more days, but it appears as if their first big free-agent signing of the off-season is going to be LeCharles Bentley, the Pro Bowl center from the New Orleans Saints.
According to a source close to the center, Bentley's interest in joining the Eagles is so strong that only the delay in the free-agency period prevented the move from happening today.

Now lets say Bentley is gone... our biggest need will be to replace our best OL player in the draft, da'Brick.

I don't believe the saints brain trust would allow this to happen. I know puttin the F tag on him would cost more then a longterm deal for one year. Hate the ****ing eagles!

It already happened patdog....Last day do tag players was Thursday...unless they changed that day too, but I dont think they did since the extension was made after that...i may be wrong anyone know?
