There could be a surprise in the Jets' draft-day plans: Maryland tight end Vernon Davis. There is increased speculation in league circles that the Jets are giving serious consideration to taking the star tight end, whom some scouts consider one of the best talents at his position in years.

...the NBA, NHL, and MLB all have drafts - no one gives a damn...
..the NFL has everyone talking about its draft before the season ends...

..t, the NFL is truly the U.S. National Pastime...

Not the pastime, that's still baseball. But football is definitely the most popular sport in the country, and I LOVE IT!
