Not a bad signing, he will be a great backup, haven't had a good backup in a long time.

Good signing. Although it blows any smokescreen we had left about drafting Leinart, this guy is a solid backup, whereas Bouman can't be counted on. This makes me happy. Keep up the good work Payton.

i like that pick up a lot. we can cut bouwman now. the guy is a journeymen but a good backup in my opinion

i am with you brother. the guy did worse then brooks last year. he has never really ever been able to fill in for us. why we kepty him this long i have no idea.

As said Brooks was bad but dang Bouman was horrible, I think once cut he'll have a tough time signing any decent contract.

that was a retarted move we are suppose to be trying to convice teams were taking a Qb........siging one right before the draft doesnt help

Either way I like the signing, I hope Brees doesn't get hurt this coming season but if he does we have a quality backup, I really don't think signing him will screw us up in the draft at all. IMO
