If we look for the Eagles to get tired we will have to start that quickly by running the ball and letting Deuce pound the ball. Once we see "mouth open" breathing, let Drew air the ball out. I really don't see the Eagles taking a day of this week. I could be wrong though. I think the best way is to pound the ball.

i agree with the pounding. if we can run the ball effectively look out. it could be a good day for us. i do think that it takes us a quarter to get our legs under us and our rhythm back. if it is still a close game after the first quarter i think it plays to an advantage for us. if our o is sputtering a bit in the first quarter and they put a 14 spot on us it could be a long day. i think the first quarter is as important a quarter there is in the game. only because we have had a lot of time off. we have to get back into the game and settle down from all the excitement.

Your team stinks

The Eagles took Monday off and were back at practice on Tuesday. They will practice Wed. & Thur., travel on Friday, and have a walkthrough on Sat. morning according to WIP in Philly.

Another factor is running both Duece and Reggie, whereas the Eagles only have Westbrook really. Our backs will be fresh for most of the game, where as Westbrook will have to take the brunt of the carries for Philly. That could prove an amazing edge for us, going into the second half.

But if there's one thing I've learned about Philly, NEVER underestimate their abilities, with Andy Reid at the helm. He's a hell of a coach. You don't go to the NFC Championship game four times in a row, and not know how to win ball games. Plus a superbowl. This game is far from a gimme.

What's popular is not always right, and what's right is not always popular.....

Especially ever since Morningway (however you spell it) took over the play calling on offense they are alot more well rounded (pass-run ratio).

RE: is this a possible scenario

The Eagles as of today are still sore I would think, will start getting better some for them tomorrow , it was a hard hitting game against the Giants, I'm sure they will get tired in the game while the Saints should be fresh.
I'd run the ball down they're throat early if it's possible, then stretch out they're defense with 4 wide-outs every now and then and continue to mix it up, play action and in the 4th with the lead it would be all Deuce, I'd rest Deuce some if we can in the 3rd QTR so that his legs will be fresh going into the 4th.
If the Eagles come into the game tired it will show early being they are coming off of only 5 days rest plus the travel day.

Rest In Peace JoeSam, thanks for everything my friend.
