Dislocated elbow isn't something you get over in 5 days. He won't be playing against the Saints.

Same here, and I don't wish injuries like that on anyone (I've had several catastrophic joint injuries myself), but I'm not going to complain.

RE: Sheppard dislocates elbow
I want everybody to sit back and think a moment. Now, look at this season, i mean from day 1, seems like evrything is falling in to place. I've been a Saints fan for over 30 years, and no season has ever had that certain feel to it, like some kind of weird aura or something. If Phiily loses Sheppard for this game, that's just one of those things that seemed to be happening in one of the most surreal seasons i've ever seen in Saints history. Remember, the Steelers didn't march to the Superbowl on talent alone, they had a hell of a lot of luck, so if the loss of Lito is part of it, i'll take it. GO NFC SOUTH DIVISION CHAMPION SAINTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Those close games like the one today between Giants@Eagles takes a toll on a team. Nearly every snap of this contest was a fight in the trenches. I really believe the fatigue/bruised/banged-up factor will effect the Eagles coming into the dome in just 5 short days.
Sorry bout that Eagles, we earned this advantage. |

I might add, in the last contest against the Eagles it was Sheppard that picked off Brees' deep pass to Jamal Jones and returned the pick to the Eagles 30yd line that set up a Philly TD.

Hate to see someone get hurt, but it definitely improves our chances. Short rest for the Eagles doesn't hurt either.

RE: Sheppard dislocates elbow
The loss makes the Eagles (already wounded backfeild) even thinner. And this against the most prolific QB in the league this year.
Living in 'Eagles Country' I've been hearing people downplay this and say how the Eagles can take the Saints and homefeild is nothing. Man I can't wait until Monday when I can walk into the office with my Brees jersey on along with a big smile while the Eagles fans make excuses. |
