Why Bullocks

Sometimes Coach leaves me scratching my head on his personnel decisions. Especially when KK comes out and proves that he can play the position for 2 games and Bullocks came out today an laid an egg.

Re: Why Bullocks

I am sorry I don't have faith in any of our safties. They are all liabilities.

Re: Why Bullocks

Yeah I'm not really sure what the hell Bullocks was doing in the game. In my eyes, and in the eyes of many a poster here at B&G, KK played markedly better football than any of our safeties. The guy is a ballhawk, a good cover safety, and comes up very well in run support. I remember when Payton came to New Orleans he said he would start whoever offered the team the best chance to win, and that he wouldn't play favorites. Well unless I have absolutely zero ability to assess football talent (which I don't believe to be true, and I hope some of you can vouch for), Payton is not playing the people who give the Saints the best chance to win. Simoneau, Jason David, Bullocks. Those three should never see the field, IMO. But they all start, and they're consistently caught out of positon, off guard, a step behind, and too weak to make an impact hit. PUKE.

By the way, speaking of those three, do we still have the vomiting emoticon?

It was Simoneau who couldn't get past when McNabb ran for the 40 yarder because when I TIVO'd it that's right I TIVO'd it), Hollis Thomas gotten double teamed and pushed back and Simoneau ran right up his back and McNabb went straight for the spot that was vacated by Simoneau, We all know Jason David short comings are so do I believe Payton has his favorites HELL YEAH!!!!! These 3 can only be back ups on any other team in the league

Re: Why Bullocks

BigEasy, if you've still got the game TIVO'd, go back and look at the Correll Buckhalter touchdown run. Same thing, Hollis gets double teamed, Simoneau, instead of reading the play, basically runs into the back of Thomas and watches Buckhalter run by him as he's basically getting a piggy-back ride from Hollis.

Re: Why Bullocks

Well, at least the Saints have KK for three more seasons. That should give plenty of time for the coaching staff to redeem themselves. Brian Simmons is another the Saints have for two more years. Now the bad part, Shanle is on for three more after this season. Gee...
