A challenge for Saints fans at the Dome Monday night

Drew and the Saints have their focus in the right place - team goals and winning. Awards are secondary, but they do matter somewhat, especially to us fans, the media and the general public.

While everyone is paying attention on MNF, I'd like to see our Saints fans serve a major notice to the rest of the world that Drew Brees is the NFL MVP this year. If Lakers can chant MVP in the second game of the NBA season with Kobe having a mediocre night, then we can do so much more for Drew!!!

Bring signs and chant M-V-P after Brees throws/scores a TD! Its our job as Saints fan to promote our team, and having the first ever NFL MVP in franchise history would be a huge step. Having an MVP could mean more prime-time games next year! We have to enjoy the opportunity we have this year and must campaign strongly for Brees - he is the heart and determination of the Saints.

I'll be chanting MVP, but it's going to be tough to hear from my living room. Everybody sound out at home or in the Dome.

He should've been MVP last year. I never understood how Peyton Manning is the MVP when he's not even the offensive player of the year.
