this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; from the TV, it sounded like the crowd was out of it after the first dallas TD...they were sitting down and quiet till the 4th when the Saints started to come back. That wasnt good just an observation...

Actually I have have read several reports that beg the differ. Also, I watched it online and at times you couldn't hear some of the announcing over it.
They do a good job of drowning out that crowd noise for TV broadcast. Same with all sports. Romo was quoted as saying it was the loudest he's played in that he can remember. |

Re: dissapointed in crowd noise
The noise level was basically as good as it gets especially on Dallas' last drive when they missed the FG.
The 3rd and 7 from their own end of the field was probably the loudest it has ever been in that dome unfortunately they converted with a 32 yard pass. |

I think we've all seen this game before. People aren't going nutz over 3 and outs and not stopping Dallas as it was the case in the 1st half. When the occasion arose, I heard the noise.

Re: dissapointed in crowd noise
As loud as ever in The Cafe 641, I was a little irritated to see people sitting down after the first cpl. TD's...After watching this team come back as they have a few times this yr., you'd think the fans would show a little more stamina...The Who Dat Faithful in 641 are on their feet, and screaming their collective asses of for EVERY Defensive down....Not just a season tkt. holder,I'm the LOUDEST MF'r in the DOME...WHO!!!!DAT!!!!!!

Re: dissapointed in crowd noise
It sounded pretty loud to me, but it eventually died down a bit due to lack of production from the team. It happens with all teams.

Re: dissapointed in crowd noise
On first and ten, they even mentioned our crowd was taken out of it with the TDs right away. Wasnt there, so couldnt tell for sure, but it was not as rowdy as its been for some of the bigger games. Even if fans with 9 posts who just bought jerseys and became saints fans thought so
