this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; The answer to this might already be posted, but I don't want to pilfer through the arguements... Does anyone know what Green's role is going to be? Is he a back-up or are we looking to start him over Bellamy? ...

Green will start in a couple of games from now. He has more speed then Jay. But for now Jay is the man. Also Green is a hard hitter he causes other teams to fumble the ball.

A pretty good bit I think. I believe he split time with Milloy or Jones. I really don\'t remember which one.

do you think he will be better than bellamy, or even Mitchell? do you think he will get the starting nod over Mel next season?

I think the way Jay is playing right now he\'ll be hard to get out of the defense. But some of us were saying during the preseason we\'d like to see the Saints pick Victor up for depth. This guy has experience but he\'s in his 10th season. I find it hard to think he\'ll be a starter next year.

No way he beats out Mitchell next year. If you want to know what kind of player Mitchell was going to be, take a look at Ken Hamlin with the Seahawks.
Only Mitchell hits a little harder!
What a sh***ty injury. I think he was destined for greatness.
