Drew Brees Sighting in South Jersey

Drew flew in for the Maxwell Award Banquet in Atlantic City today, and was passing through on his way to an interview in Philly. He stopped in MY local watering hole (Sam's Bar & Grille in Blackwood, NJ) for some pizza and beer. Word got out that he was there pretty quickly, but luckily I was off work today when my buddy with a local news station gave me the heads up.

For the record: he's a great guy who took time to say hello to every kid in the place. As he was mobbed by mooching Iggles fans looking for pics and autographs, I elbowed my way in to get my shot with our guy!

Needless to say, I am too tickled for words.

Why does drew look like there is a Gun in his back? Thought Tony Soprano was a myth in Jersey.

I really think he was kinda intimidated by all of the fans despite being in Iggles country.

Of course, I had to deal with at least one loser who insisted he couldn't get excited about seeing Brees because he was a TRUE Eagle fan and, I quote: "He's the under sized, over rated, QB who was the MVP of the last Super Bowl..."

At first, I got a little miffed at someone trying to down my boy Drew, but then I replayed what he said in my head and laughed my beer through my nose! ...and they wonder why NO ONE likes Iggles fans!!!
