Saints signed WR Mark Bradley to an undisclosed contract.

The timing is odd as the Saints got Marques Colston back this week and Robert Meachem (toe) is due back next week. With Courtney Roby and Rod Harper helping out on special teams behind the top four receivers, the Saints have no room to Bradley. He needs an injury or two to show up on the final roster.

At this point, I don't even second guess Payton and Loomis anymore, there just going to make me look like a fool for doing so,lol.
It was hard to figure out what they saw in a lot of our FA, and UFA's.
Maybe the contract is that he agrees to have one of his legs broken so he can be put on IR and replaces a busted practice dummy?

Got excited for a minute, then I realized it was Mark Bradley, not Mark Clayton (both formerly of Oklahoma). Oh well maybe he can push Roby and Harper.

Who knows? Maybe one of the starters or backups need to feel less job security and more motivation. But Mark Bradley? Who knows?

Probably just more insurance. If we catch the injury bug Payton probably wants a handful of guys available to sign off the street.

A guy like this is probably servicable if we have a rash of injuries and will be familiar with the system and more importantly be ready to join us with a simple phone call during the season.

He's a good candidate to be on our "phone-squad".

Answer = The Saints waived WR Matt Simon to make room for WR Mark Bradley. Simon was a long shot to make the roster. Bradley is also a long shot to make the roster.
