Bush back as soon as October 24th?

A talk show on our local ESPN radio affiliate mentioned something about this just now, so I checked up on it. Not sure if this has been posted yet, so my apologies if it has.

If he comes back as early as that; I'm sure his playing time will be severely limited. Maybe used more as a mind game/decoy for the defense to think about....

I said this when his injury first happened. The Browns game is a rush, but if he is a go...hell yeah!

Sounds reasonable. Bone heals much faster than most people think.

"No cast, no wrap," he said. "I was on crutches for maybe three days just to keep the pressure off of it. I went to the crutch for one day, and then I was completely off of it."
This is the important part. What usually takes time coming back from is weeks on crutches with your leg in a cast since you loose so much muscle and strength. If he could walk on after 3-4 days that means he will not loose hardly any muscle at all. This is great news!

Unless PT is not available, no reason to rush him back for the BROWNS.
We'll see how the offense is tomorrow. If we run the 'Brees-Show' offense and are successful, then there is no reason for Bush to play that early
