Although he had more success as a Saint, he left N.O. under negative circumstances. So my guess is he'll go in as a Chief.

Correct me if I'm wrong but while there are photos of the players in the hall and stats on their whole career. They don't go "in" as a member of any particular team. They're just in

I was wondering the same thing, but I'm pretty sure you go in as a member of a primary team. That's why you hear things like "Atlanta" has 0 hall of fame players. New Orleans only has one, etc... Ricky Jackson went in as a Saint, not as a 49er.

They just go in as a player who played for x teams, I haven't been to the hall since 2002 but when I went they had each bust with name and career info on top of it. IMO it's the same as Ricky, he was a saint who happened to play for another team

You guys are right! From Wikepedia:

"Enshrinees do not go into the Pro Football Hall of Fame as a member of a certain team. Rather, all of an inductee's affiliations are listed equally.[6] While the Baseball Hall of Fame plaques generally depict each of their inductees wearing a particular club's cap (with a few exceptions, such as Catfish Hunter), the bust sculptures of each Pro Football Hall of Fame inductee make no reference to any specific team. In addition to the bust that goes on permanent display at the Hall of Fame, inductees receive a distinctive gold jacket and previous inductees nearly always wear theirs when participating at new inductee ceremonies."

That's the right call. It's a tribute to the person not the team. Now if a stadium wants to do a Carolina thievery statue tribute they can but in the end it just pisses people off.
