I'm in the same boat. I remeber them all except the Dempsy kick. Oh, that River City Relay. I was working at Copeland's, and I watched that last play on the bar TV. Like everyone else, I was going nuts. Then I ran off to actually do work. I came back a couple of minutes later to watch the beginning of OT to find a totally deflated bar crowd that informed me that Carney missed the EP and that the game was over. That one sucked big green donkey ballz.

I was not one of the 5 million, give or take a million, that actually saw Dempsey's kick live at Tulane Stadium, but I did get to watch it on TV.

I remember my buddy tossing the football up and down and asking me to go out and throw the ball. I told him we had watched this much, we might as well go ahead and see what happens.

I remember a couple of quick passes from Kilmer. I think one was to Al Dodd and the other to Danny A...then Dempsey comes trotting in and we were all wondering what they had up their sleeves. Then he actually kicked it...and even weirder...it actually went through the uprights, giving the Saints the narrow win, and they were rewarded by getting the 2nd pick in the draft instead of the 1st...but I don't think it would've mattered. I think we would've picked Archie whether we had 1st or 2nd pick.

Whether you think you can or think you can't...you're right!

Well I remember all but the "Kick" as well. I was at the Turley helmet game. We got into a fight in the stands that night. Kicked out of the dome, then the group I was in got into a BIGGER fight outside the dome. Ah the memories.....

I remember listening to the Dempsey kick on the radio. Saints games back in those days rarely made it to TV. I did however like most see the rest of these on TV.

That little video they had posted was the first time I ever heard the play by play to go with it. I"ve seen the kick a hundred times on tv etc. Hearing the call made my nite.
