49ers beat up at WR

"San Francisco needs to add a receiver. Ted Ginn Jr., is nursing a left ankle injury sustained on the second-half kickoff return against Pittsburgh on Dec. 19, while Kyle Williams went down with a head injury in last Saturday’s 19-17 win at Seattle. Versatile tight end Delanie Walker also was hurt against the Seahawks, suffering a jaw injury; it is believed to be broken. The team hopes to get him back for the playoffs."

49ers release wideout Braylon Edwards - NFL - Yahoo! Sports

The Rams probably won't do more than show up but with the 49ers WR trouble they may be able to make a game of it.

Well as we learned against them, the Rams defense does have an ability to get sacks and pressure, and SF's O line is not really one of the best in the league or anything...from what I've seen of them, it's not like SF does anything really amazing with the deep ball, just more like dink and dunk short passes, to the guy over the middle who's just jogging there eight yards away, so they might not experience too much of a drop off by changing receivers. It's hard to gauge these things but from reading Rams forums and stuff, I think that Spags is kind of on the hot seat there, so he might be able to get a good last game out of them

T.O back in SFO? OH the irony!

The Rams can win I tell ya. It might be 5-0 at the end of the game, but damnit they can DO it.
