They have every right to be optimistic, their team has played well and they're in the playoffs for the first time in years.
That being said, we are playing what I think is the best football I've seen from our team and we need to continue that going forward, the lions are standing in our way and I too am very optimistic about our saints!

I posted that Saints fans think of the Lions as our northern cousin because both have had bad teams for so long.

Hopefully some will come over for some good-natured discussions.

I just hope that Suh has learned his lesson and keeps his "feet" off of our players. It would NOT be cool to lose a player/players in the playoffs to something as stupid as Suh's temper/inability to control himself.

Greetings from a Lions fan here, not here to start trouble, just to talk football!

I went to the Lions/Saints game a month ago, and you guys were by far the best fans i've ever seen. Seriously, you all were very cool to me, even though I was in my Lions jersey.

Any questions you have about the Lions, fire away, I will give you my honest opinion.

There was ONE team I was not looking forward to playing in the playoffs, and it's the saints. But, to be the best, you gotta beat the best, right?!

if/when you all win on Saturday, PLEASE beat the Packers and 49ers!!!

Same to the Lions!!

Happy New Year & congratulations on your season.

Although I believe the Saints will win Saturday, I want to wish the best to the Lions and their fans and hope whichever team goes forward has no injuries!!

If their was some way to go back to 1987 & see how optimistic we were going into our FIRST playoff game EVER. Look what happened. (45-10?)

The playoffs is a whole new ballgame & we have been there - the Lions have not.
