Exclamation Suh looking forward to playing against the Saints

Lions defensive tackle Ndamukong Suh was forced to watch the Lions’ previous meeting with the Saints December 4 on television from his families home in Portland, Oregon as he served the first game of a league-mandated two-game suspension.

“For me it was obviously difficult, I obviously always want to be with my teammates, being able to support them,” Suh said Tuesday as he prepares to face the Saints for the first time this season. “I’m in a position now that I can really help them and I look forward to doing that and being a big part of this opportunity.”

Suh said that he treated the first game like a game-film session and certainly wasn’t watching it as a fan.

“I watched the game as a football player, so I’m watching the defenses and the offenses, seeing what they’re doing,” he said.

I look forward to Suh being Suh. Hot-headed and racking up lots of yardage for our offense, prior to getting thrown out of the game.

So .... Suh me.

Yeah, I've got to say that De la Puente made me forget all about Kreutz, Goodwin and Tennant in a hurry.

Who knew? He looked a bit shaky in the preseason games playing at the guard position - I especially remember that one free run he gave to the opposition DT that resulted in a safety - but he has been really good at center, since he replaced Kreutz.

I guess he is going to be the center for next season?! Or at least the front-runner.

I really hope he keeps the starting job, playing the way he has his season he can only get better.
It took our offensive line a couple of weeks to gel properly, but DLP has way outperformed Kreutz, our entire O line has really stepped up and proved they can not only pass protect but they are punishing run blockers
