greg williams is a dumb @ss!!

Wtf just happened? God I hope he goes somewhere next year!

TheEnigma 01-14-2012 07:37 PM

Alex Smith is one of the worse Quarterbacks I have ever seen and we let him beat us. I agree, I hope his a$$ is gone.

The Dude 01-14-2012 07:38 PM

2nded

gandhi1007 01-14-2012 07:39 PM

I agree. Gregg Williams' defenses have sucked a** since he's been here.

CharityMike 01-14-2012 07:40 PM

I said to my brother that he may leave after the season and now i wish I could kick him in the ass on the way out!

Why the f**K would you stop doing the same defense that has worked ALL game??? This is the reason we are 3rd or 2nd worst pass defense in the NFL. WHY GIVE THEM YARDS????

Im not going to rag any single player on the D. They kept us in the game all day. They played eff'n good!!

Offense C-

Special Teams F of epic proportion

Its almost unbelievable that special teams pretty much lost us this game.

Defense B Last drive...you can only play what the coach calls

Coaching F of epic proportion

spkb25 01-14-2012 07:42 PM

without a doubt- why why why were we playing man and blitzing, rush 3 and drop into coverage.

dizzle88 01-14-2012 07:42 PM

The D played great for 3 quarters and then massively messed up in the last quarter.

If GW wants to threaten to leave, show him the door, i'd rather have spags if we can get him.
Atleast spags is smart and wont rush 7 guys with 40 seconds to go, and he'd have us playing bump and run coverage

saintsfan1976 01-14-2012 07:42 PM

Please. Graham gets tackled on the one and no one is asking for GW"s head. Nor, should you be.

Our defense was put on the most difficult situations the ENTIRE GAME. and we still held on.... We KNEW harper couldn't hold Vernon. We KNEW jenkins couldn't hold Vernon.

Budsdrinker 01-14-2012 07:43 PM

3 point lead with 1:30 to go, you keep all plays in front of you. how do you let Davis beat you like that

Gregg Williams didn't turn the ball over 6 times today.....

saintfan 01-14-2012 07:44 PM

We caved in the end, but Smith made some good throws. I won't miss GW I think, but this game is on the shoulders of those who turned the ball over...about half the offense at last count.

I think we fumbled again on the way to the post game presser.

I agree with this, they played good up until the last three drives the 49ers had at the end. I hope the Packers/Giants hit Alex Smith right in his mouth next week so hard he can't get back up.

This is absolutely true, but that was bad d at the end, and why were we playing man?

We had that game after the JG Td, I feel like he made some bad calls on that drive

I'll take Spagnola if he comes our way. Luv ya GW, but I'll take a change of direction.

Defense definitely caved twice at the end. They saw something GW didn't --- like BLITZ 90% of the time

This x 10000000

we played prevent all year and it did its job, when we needed to play it GW decided to get cute

The O had a great deal of blame in the loss for all the turnovers, but it was the shear stupidity of the D at the end that cost us

Defense called 5 times as many plays as offense. Bound to make a mistake or two.......

hagan714 01-14-2012 07:48 PM

6 turnovers 6!
the defense was the reason we are able to climb back into the game. I just hope they watch the tape of the game and learn to tackle.

CharityMike 01-14-2012 07:49 PM

Pierre got speared in the head and got knocked out, Im not blaming him for the turnover sorry. Devery slipped and wasn't able to jump for the ball..not blaming Drew for that one. Drew threw 1 bad pass..thats on him.

Defense was working all game and the bad coaching in the end lost it for us..bad defensive coaching..bye GW

jeanpierre 01-14-2012 07:51 PM

The turnovers shouldn't shield Williams & the defense from that breakdown at the end of the game...

Our first round picks didn't get it done today either...

Bree's valiant effort today was tragically wasted..

Halo 01-14-2012 07:53 PM

It's undeniable.... had we won it would have been a MIRACLE and NFL record that a team with 6 turnovers in the playoffs actually wins the game.

I know many avenged their turnovers.... but even Sproles.... he was holding the Ball like a loaf of Bunny Bread when he fumbled.

That shouldn't happen!!!!!!!

Did we practice on grass this week?

papz 01-14-2012 07:54 PM

Think logically... Gregg Williams screwed up when it counted the most. Other than that, we played pretty good defensively. Even on Smith's 30 yard QB run, who could have predicted that.

Absolutely agree. He choked when it mattered the most. Thanks Greg for letting your players and the who dat nation down when it mattered the most.

No but when they had the chance to save the season they failed miserably. Twice!!

HouYat 01-14-2012 08:02 PM

GW, see ya. Go to St Louis, PLEASE! Can't play defense for 97 &$&$@!-/ seconds? Really? Time for you to move on!

Sorry man, I respect your opinion, but that's garbage d at the end. It was 2 stinking drives in a row. I just cant forgive that.

spkb25 01-14-2012 08:04 PM

I'd take spags or the old Jags coach

LivnaLieTimay 01-14-2012 08:04 PM

I hope Williams goes to St. Louis. The D played well for most of the game but when it mattered most his playcalling was horrible. You just can't let a bad offense like SF move down the field so easily. I would love to blame this loss on the 5 turnovers but we overcame all of that and gave the D a 3 point lead with 1:10 left on the clock and the niners on their own 15. You just can't let a bad offense score a TD on that drive.

Have to agree with this

GeauxForMore 01-14-2012 08:06 PM

Our window is closing and we need a change in direction. The D played great but the coaching let us down. We need a D coordinator that knows his players and wont put them in bad sitiuations. Malcolm Jenkins is not Sharper he cant play center field. Very few players can. Thanks GW for all you have done put it is time to move on.

saintsfan1976 01-14-2012 08:06 PM

When it mattered most???

What about what the players did when it mattered most??????

Are you seriously asking this??? You have got to be delusional to blame this on anything else but Williams.

Yes we had 6 turnovers..we over came that. We made and called the plays necessary to win.

When we needed the D the most, they failed. Not the players..coaching. The players play the call given to them.

LBCutta 01-14-2012 08:11 PM

GET RID OF GREG WILLIAMS NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Donuts32 01-14-2012 08:13 PM

All Gregg Williams knows is blitzing. Then he dials up blitzes at the wrong time. I love him for getting us our first Superbowl but it's time to move on. Spags is better as a DC than coach and would love to have him here.

Hayduke 01-14-2012 08:16 PM

I was excited when we got Williams. I still was when we won the superbowl. But after we lost Shaper our Defense has not been reliable. I like the pressure he puts on teams but does not have an answer if the opposing team handles the blitz. I love what he does with the guys, I like that he give a few of them the freedom to make their own plays and make there own decisions.

I still like Williams but I think we need a more balanced defense, and I don't think he is our guy.

Imagine if we had a defense like the Broncos, not great but good and balanced. We would have gone undefeated.

So you're asking me to blame the six turnovers on Williams?

If we "made and called the plays to win" then we wouldn't need to count on our DC (WHO IS ON THE SIDELINES) to make a play....

And guess what my man.... we "needed" our defense the ENTIRE FRIGGIN GAME!!!!

Jenkins will have competition next year. He played good the past 4 games, before that nothing, he got exposed today. As far as Williams, he lived by the sword and today he died by the sword, I think he's not here next year.

spkb25 01-14-2012 08:18 PM

i like the jags guy to, whats his name?
