Not to be a downer

I still can't get over the loss. I just can't. We should be playing next week and winning our second super bowl. I am just sick in my stomach we let that get a way from us late like that (and all the turnovers). I haven't watched any of the games since and I don't think I'll be watching the SB. I just can't get over it. Off season, please hurry. Spags, get that D looking like a D, please!

As you know, I have been a Saints fan since day one and while the Saints are a huge part of my life, their successes and failures do not stand in the way of the rest of my life. Perhaps it is because I have lived through all of the ups and downs that I am able to compartmentalize. I am not going to let the fact that we came up short this year stand in the way of enjoying what is left.

That said, next year ...

Aaron Rodgers has got to feel like shat having to hang around with world-record-holder Drew Brees.

I regret that we didn't get an opportunity to take the Packers to the woodshed.

We beat BOTH of the this year's Super Bowl teams last time we played them. NOT comforting.
