First to preface this story, I am the biggest Saints fan I know

Here's the story, Im a Uverse tech here in Houston, Uverse for those of you that don't know is att's version of cable service. I am training a guy on how to do what I do so that lets you know its two of us. I finished my first install of the day and proceeded to pickup another job. I was explaining how crazy the job can be sometimes while getting the information for the next ticket we would be going on. I scroll down the ticket and the name that is on there is Adrian Peterson!!!!! I just laughed it off at first until we got to the place, for houstonians Woodway and S. Post Oak. So it's a high rise with a guy who lets you in but it still hadn't hit me. I asked the desk guy i said laughingly " Unit 2 first or second floor". The guy looked at me and said it's up on eight ( Penthouse my dumb butt still hadn't caught on). I knock and Adrian Peterson opens the door, and I said IT IS AP!!!! ( So unprofessional) He got to telling me what the problem was when my accent ( heavy New Orleans )got in the way over the word CLOSET!!!! And I said " YOU GOTTA FORGIVE ME IM FROM NEW ORLEANS!!!!! his girl laughed real big and walked in the back then I thought long and hard about what I just said. But he was real cool about it!!! Nice guy, the homes best feature besides the size and space there's a picture of him stiff - arming Drayton Florance ( of the Chargers at the time) that looks 3D as your walking through the hall that appears to jump out at you!!!! BTW I didn't bring up bounties or his injury ( which by the way looks like its fine by the way he was walking to all you fantasy football buffs)

Good story. I don't post on here much but I lived on post oak once and am currently 60 miles from Nawlins in Baton Rouge. WTF is he doing in Houston? Traded to the Texans??? (so curious) Sounds like a cool enough guy though!

No, He's actually from a part of Texas. And plenty athletes reside in Houston because of its Tax situation, or lack thereof. In short because Houston doesn't have a state tax, you can keep more of the contract money that you signed for!!!

He was born in Texas and his mom went to Houston on a track and field scholarship. She probably lives there.
