Saints are no closer to naming interim interim coach

After the final preseason game, Saints interim head coach Joe Vitt will begin his six-game suspension. So are the Saints any closer to naming the interim interim coach?

“No,” Vitt told the media on Friday. “Again, we’ve played one preseason game.”

Someone then asked an excellent follow-up question: “Would you want to give the coach that will take over the chance to get a couple of games under his belt during the preseason?”

Vitt answered the question without answering the question.

Of course!
Addressing who that is and why is just a distraction. They need Vitt to get them through training camp and will address as it happens.

Until then, I don't blame them, just do what you have to do when you have to do it. Let the opponent think your team is in chaos...it might win a game or two for the Saints.

Everyone's jaw is going to drop when Bill Parcells comes out of the tunnel through the smoke.

It's going to SP as RG will be forced to vacate those unjust suspensions!

About the same if the following happened - if Jon Gruden took a leave of absence and walked out of the tunnel with When the Saints come marching home...

Talk about "Do your Job"... In either scenario - not sure either would happen...

Have a few friends saying they expect Sean Payton to be coaching opening day.

But thinking about it further, not naming an interim head coach is a REALLY SMART idea by the Saints. It doesn't limit the contact of that "person" in regard to speaking to The Saints, Loomis, or Payton. Especially, if they are outside of the league at the moment.

An Optimist sees the big picture and views obstacles as temporary hurdles

I think it be stupid to name Spags at IHC, Carmichael? perhaps.

Be even more funnier if it was Brees, has that ever happened?

Since Sean took over we are very quiet about what we do. Bill Parcells taught Payton that trick too........The Tuna shared a lot of knowledge with the chosen one!
