Newly cut McCown signs with Falcoons
this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; I'm sure the coaches had enough foresight NOT to share the entire playbook with a 3rd string journeyman QB who they knew wouldn't make the roster. That being said, I STILL HATE THE FALCONS...

Give him a Bozo nose and a little brown stain and he'll fit right in. Still can't figure out what he was ever doing in Black and (sorta) Gold to begin with.

Maybe this went the other direction. Many of us wondered why McCown was even on the SAINTS roster. As it turns out, the new O-coordinator for the falcons was with McCown in Jax for three years. Maybe we signed McCown to keep him away from the clowns for as long as we could.

He was brought in because the last time the Saints signed a washed up QB from Jax for the preseason they won the Superbowl.
Or at least that's my theory... |
