If the offense can continue to score 30+ a game you're right. But that's what it's going to take, because our defense sucks chipmunk balls.

I am VERY cynical right now, but ask me again later. I think if we can just stay at .500 or better until we get Vitt back, we can put together a serious run. It felt like a blowout, but there were several turning points in this game where it could have gone the other way and gotten the Saints back in it -- but it just didn't happen.

Defense just has to hold teams to 20ish.
Even ugly like we put up 30's. That's enough to beat most...
We are going to have to start pulling Brees for pitch-count.
That's rediculous. FIFTY-TWO? dayum!
Defense will get better.
I believe we can still do it.

good news is Drew took full responsibility in his press conference and said the offense WILL get better...

So will the defense, have to still be learning the nuances of the new scheme.

Remember we lost the first game last year too...
