I find this a bit ridiculous. Sure, Brees had thrown more interceptions, and some really costly ones. But you do realize that he throws the ball the most in the entire league, every year, right?

He puts the entire team on his back, because he has to. I'm sure he would love to have the running game that the Texans have, or the offensive line that the 49ers have, but he doesn't.

ANYONE else throwing the ball that many times and carrying the entire weight of the team on his shoulders, without a head coach, mind you, probably wouldn't have won a game this year. That includes Brett Favre, sir.

I blame Drew because he threw those 2 pick 6's. I blame the defense because sometimes they couldn't get off the field on 3rd down. I blame the offensive line because they couldn't stop them. It was a team lose. But mostly I blame the coaches. Harbaugh said it. Go with the hot hand. Ivory was the hot hand, he was gashing them. They should have let Ivory keep gashing them. If they had Drew would not have had to throw so much. They are too dependent on the pass. Drew cannot win the game all by himself.

How much of that was in the 4th quarter when we were playing catch up, we totally abandoned the running game and were forced to pass?

All Drew Bress comments aside...I'd be willing to bet if used properly we have a better running game than the Texans.

Nah, he's not turning into 'Brett Favre' ... sh#t happens ... you pick yourself up, you dust yourself off, and you get ready to play the next game ... Drew knows the drill, he ain't going all 'Brett Favre' on the Saints yet,.

That was in the 3rd qtr that it was flashed... Catchup has nothing to do with not protecting the QB.

No Sir!... Its gloom despair and agony... The sky is falling... No other player or team does the terrible things we do... No Manning, Brady... has ever thrown 4 INT in a game...

Is JaMarcus Russell available?

To me, the first pick-6 was 90% on Drew (the other 10% being a great play by the defender).

The second pick-6 was a team effort. Drew had to rush his throw because of lack of protection. Despite that, he threw a ball that was high, but catchable. Colston got annihilated and couldn't hold make the catch (still not sure how that wasn't a hit on a defenseless receiver...I really don't get that rule sometimes). After the pick it seemed like no one on the team even tried to make the tackle.

I still don't get why we seem to give up on the run so quickly. We were averaging, what, 3-4 yards/carry? Not exactly burning up the stat sheet, but enough to keep defenses honest.
