Another reason I think our O is sputtering
I am not one to blame anything on officiating, every team is dealing with this. One thing that makes our offense so potent is the fact that it is so fast pace and uses a lot of no huddle so it keeps defenses out of sync and requires them to constantly be on there toes. Rhythm and momentum are huge for this offense, maybe even more so than any other team. I think the slow pace of the game is really hurting us. The fact that the refs are taking so damn long to review and make their calls is hurting us as much as the actually pooey officiating. What do you guys think?

Dictating the tempo is a huge part of what we do. Or are supposed to do, LOL. I remember when the league moved the back judge official, and changed the way they spotted the ball, it was screwing up our rhythm big time. During that preseason and the first few games.

Hadn't thought of it that way but there could be some credence to that thought. Not to say there aren't other issues but that could be contributing to it.

On the offensive side of the ball I think it is a bunch of little things that are beyond our control that contribute. I think in time we will see the ball start to bounce our way again.

Re: Another reason I think our O is sputtering
When we were Champions, we used to script entire possessions. When you quit doing what made you successful, you stop being successful.
I'd just like to add that Mark Ingram is DEAD WEIGHT. 2.2 ypc?! WHAT?! Trade Pro Bowl linemen and your line will suffer. Trade starting receivers and your passing will suffer. Pay your QB too much and you jinx the whole season. Etcetera, etcetera... Alaska |

He has passed over 5000 yards twice. He is approaching Unitas' record. Over 4000 yards every year he has been here. He plays hurt. Get out of here with paying him too much. Total Bull****. Guy deserves every GD dollar. |

If it doesn't matter who wins or loses, then why do they keep score?
