I fly thru that airport a lot and I always wear my Saints Super Bowl cap. Last year, after the bird droppings lost the going-for-4th-down-on-their-side game, I wore my Devrey Henderson jersey; it was priceless watching all the airport workers finding something interesting to look at on the tops of their shoes as I walked around!!
So you probably heard about how the New Orleans Saints' team bus was hit with a covert egg attack on Wednesday night in Atlanta. You may not know that the incident has inspired a full-blown investigation. Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport spokeswoman Myrna White released a statement on the matter Thursday. "It has been confirmed that eggs were thrown at a New Orleans Saints' charter bus as they departed the ramp last night. Airline workers were in the ramp area. Airport and airline officials are investigating the incident and further information will be forthcoming," White said via the Atlanta Journal-Constitution. White stressed that "disciplinary action will be taken" against the offending airline workers. General manager Louis Miller will meet with the suspects. On the bright side, the workers probably won't have to buy a beer in the Atlanta area for a while. And they will be the subjects of an awesome future segment of "Dateline." You can tell the difference between Romney supporters and Obama supporters by which side of the check they sign. Romney supporters sign the front of their checks............

Re: Airport to investigate New Orleans Saints eggers
You know, there is never a reason for that kind of stupidity, ugliness, uncivility.
There should be an investigation and those who did this. Why? Why would you want to lose a good job at an airport, a secure job too because Atl-H is a hub (Continental), an international airport, to do something so stupid, ugly, vandalism, uncivilized? If you like your team, why give that bad national attention. Makes no sense. I will give equal time to Saints ' crazy or a non fan, fairweather one. Way back someone threw a beer on Bum Philips while he was on the sidelines. I think the person was caught. It was bad pr for Saints ' fans , the team and Bum Philips. |
