Manti Te'o

Well Manti Te'o could possibly drop down to us now in the midst of all his scandal. I feel, after all of this, he'll feel like he has something to prove.

Fake or not, that guy puts his heart on the line on the football field. I couldn't care less what they do off the field, as long as it doesn't keep them from starting games on Sundays. And yes, I know he was non-existent in the championship game, but it's not like he had any help. They were completely out-matched.

How does everyone feel about this guy now?

Manti Te' No! Nothin' to do with imaginary girlfriends. Most of us have had one or two of those. "Bama exposed him as a LB totally dependent on his DL to break him free to make plays. We can depend on our DL to help give up more yards than any other team in history

You couldn't care less what they do off the field?

You will when it affects the locker room...

Look, the kid's ability is evident but he's destined to be a back up or starter of a very weak LB corps.

Re: Manti Te'o

I don't think he'll drop that far in the draft.
Besides I don't want to tarde up to get him.
Get the best player available and use the **** out of FA

Re: Manti Te'o

He's a solid tackler, with pretty decent instincts... But he is physically slow in reacting to plays that aren't right in front of him. He doesn't have very good speed, and when I watched him I noticed his lateral movement was very unimpressive. He's just kinda stiff. Good college player because he tracks the ball well with his eyes and is a good tackler when he is able to get there, but I think he's too slow for the NFL. At least in terms of being a starter.

I say pass if he is around our pick there will be someone one is better at a different position. Or even better than his position, I'm not sold on this guy at all, even before this hype with a scandal

I didn't see many ND games but he did not impress me in the BCS. Maybe it was just one bad game but he sure picked the wrong time to have it.

Re: Manti Te'o

Honestly, I think he's gay. Not that there's anything wrong with that...

Imaginary girlfriends are for gay guys.

Beyond that, he's just not "attractive" as a linebacker.

Re: Manti Te'o

I saw him a few times throughout the year and honestly wondered what all of the hype was about. If Notre Dame had lost a game or two during the regular season I'm not sure any of us would know who he was. That team needed a media face and that is what he became, although his lack of common sense is a little troubling.
