Wasn't he hurt the year we moved him to nickel? Well, he was always hurt...but wasn't he more hurt then usual?

Don't think so. He's just one of those guys who plays better as a boundary CB instead of NB.

I saw him in one of the games the Broncos played last year. They kept attacking his side. I mean, I would too because the legendary Champ Bailey is on the other side, but they kept going at him. They were getting him too. Thing about him, he'll all of a sudden make a big interception; and that's exactly what he did in the game I saw. Similar to the Super Bowl game. They were killing him with that same little stupid, slant with the wheel route from the slot so the the slant sets the pick. Then he finally caught on. He should've knew from the jump though. The Colts ran that ALL the time.

So his football IQ is relatively low. You have to run something at him all day before he gets it sorted out.... meanwhile

A couple of slip ups in return for a big play. He'd be a good rotation guy. If we had to take somebody off the list, I'd take him.

How many big plays a season? 2 ?
How many slip ups a game? 2?

That's 2 turn overs for 32 long passes.

Not worth it.

He gives up a lot of underneath stuff. Slants mostly from what I remember.

Lewis, Greer, Robinson, White, Carr, Sweeting, Jenkins and Vaccaro (at NB) > Porter.

Porter wouldn't make this roster.

That's where I was going lol. If Porter had enough up side to make this roster he wouldn't have been let go, or they would have brought him back by now.
