Payton's Leadership

Does anyone recall when he pointed out to the ref an offsides and we got the flag? Or how about clapping his hands and hunkering down and not accepting defeatism on the Bucs last 3rd down when a lot of Saints fans were ready to live to fight another day. When I saw that I raised my head up.

Or how about excellent clock management preventing them from running down the clock any further? And the presser, stating the 4th down failure was his fault alone when it really wasn't. It was a poor offensive showing without question but without him we lose that game. Glad to have our coach back.

Priority one next week is protect Brees. He took some brutal shots, probably the worst as a Saint I've ever seen. Leave Ingram back there since he's not doing anything else.

Re: Payton's Leadership

It was almost like Payton was in uniform and on the field. I agree that was a loss with Vitt or Kromer. Although Kromer seem's to have found a home in Chicago.

Re: Payton's Leadership

The loss of Kromer is really starting to be felt (especially by Drew)

Yes it appears that Cutler and the Bears have benefited.
