OK I am satisfied.

this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; I have been more frustrated this year with our team than I can ever remember being, even in the Ditka days. Its not because we arent good, its because we havent played to our potential. Ryan has turned this defense ...

OK I am satisfied.

I have been more frustrated this year with our team than I can ever remember being, even in the Ditka days. Its not because we arent good, its because we havent played to our potential. Ryan has turned this defense totally around and our offense still has the tools in place to put on a great show, we have seen it at almost all home games so its not like we CANT do it.
We have played some bad football on the road. Every time its been because we beat us more than anythng else. Turnovers, penalties, breakdown in protection etc.
Im happy we went on the road and got our first playoff win. If it ends here I will be happy.
I can relax next game and take the bad with the good. I just wanted to see one win.

I did say before we played seattle that whoever won that game would lose to the other team when they met again in the playoffs. It is a possibility and I feel a lot better about it but if it doesnt happen I am not going to get too upset and break as many things as I might otherwise
Like Dungy (of all people) said I love the way in which we won this game. We won it in spite of Drew making mistakes and without hiding behind huge numbers. We won it the old fashioned way with a stout D and solid run game and that really is a playoff teams best friend. especially on the road.
I was also happy to see Ingram finally break out. I guess he really does need to be consistantly fed the rock. Makes me wonder how we would have played had PT been in.
Anyway good win and if it ends next week at least they made the offseason one week shorter.

True Dat! One things for sure though, if the Saints offense plays like that in Seattle we will be blown out of the water.

I think we run first before pass next week, especially if it rains. We should handle the 'Hags run D as well! They only gave up 50 less than the Eagles, but the Eagles D was on the field a lot more due to that offense of theirs

Aside from DLPs routine holding call and Armstead getting beat once I think so as well. I think Armstead is steadily improving and think he is there for the long term.

Yea I was stoked on armstead. Only his third start, and this was a huge game. Looks really athletic for a big boy.

Great game by the O Line tonight.

If we can get Drew to stop throwing those stupid ints we'll be fine.
