I wouldn't be so sure we are screwed when he's gone. It looks to me like we are slowly structuring for an offense that can thrive without Brees. The next two drafts will produce players that will be in their prime by the time he retires. We will be able to bigger contracts if they are worth keeping and could get a great qb in the draft that will be playing on a cheap salary under the new cba.

i'm thinkin and that's dangerous but what if manzel falls to the 2 or even 3rd rd. does payton and loomis pull the trigger on our future?
