Should Rob Ryan try and bring in Anthony Spencer?
If I'm correct, I believe Anthony Spencer is still a free agent. I think it would be a smart move to at least bring him in for a vet minimum. That way ( watch this lol) Sean Payton can get his offensive playmaker in the first round. With Gallette, Butler, and Spencer I think the front 7 will be complete and Rob can fully implement his 3-4 Defense. # RiseoftheWHODATS

I wouldn't mind for the right price. But I still hope we draft a CB in round 1.

I just know they had interest in him last season. And he is proven under Robs scheme. We still don't know about Victor.

CB in the 1st or trade down for Verett at the top of the 2nd. Usually too expensive to pay for the better starting CBs as Free Agents. Usually too hard/uncommon to draft them mid- to low rounds. Must draft at a need position.

You can't draft a need position. You always go BPA. Draft is to much of a gamble. You draft someone you are going to need to start and they turn out a bust day one you're screwed.

I agree, draft BPA in the first round. Beside a CB is not something that we are in dire needs of. With Byrd Vaccaro & Bush playing middle field and slot, they can mop up anything that White or Robinson spills in terms of coverage mishaps. Our defense is fine, our offense is what needs help.

What smoke are you cracking? Spencer is one year removed from a pro bowl level, just because he tore his ACL doesn't mean he is going to settle for vet minimum.
