If he isn't as good as the guys in front of him, he should sit.

Dixon and Frederick have earned the right to start. SJB apparently hasn't.

He's not the first guy the Saints have red-shirted in his rookie year and they wouldn't do it if he didn't show a ton of promise. At this point the worst thing you could do do a raw rookie CB is throw him out there on an island, with a discombobulated defense where he's probably going to end up looking bad and lose some confidence.

But I'm willing to bet he gets in at least for the second half Sunday, at least in some sub packages.

Explain what? The defensive scheme? Your status on the team? What time you should get up in the morning? Where you should be at a certain time? What you should have for lunch? Who you should see? When you should see them? I really need more information before I can comment ... I know he's not throwing his coaches under the bus, :neutral:.

He should be playing this week and we may look back bext year wondering why he didn't start. You cannot tell me there are better guys in front of him because that's complete crap. Frederick looked ok starting but outside of him we have seen people get beat and blow assignments all year. If SJB comes out next year and plays like Revis or Sherman we are only going to ask why he didn't start sooner.

I have no faith in our organization to develop players or put the right talent on the field, its why we see guys like Goodwin start while Lelito sits its why we see guys like Warren get cut.

If SJB comes out and balls like a probowler it makes this staff look bad for him riding the pine.

Lastly those of you talking about CB confidence and not wanting to ruin it your full of ****. Every CB gets beat and the good ones come back the next play ready to go. If anything they are ruining his confidence by not getting him on the field now. We all saw what CBs with confidence issues do... Prob.

Frederick looked "OK" against a bears team that completely fell apart from the first quarter onwards

He completely stopped running vs Julio Jones and let him catch an uncontested pass in the red zone

We need another dependable CB opposite lewis, I don't know why the FO thought a 37 year old or a guy that's played the position for a year were capable of being that.
