Payton or Belichick dish out more misinformation? Is it acceptable and expected to be lied to this time of year? ó @Vooyah

I think thereís an expectation to be part of the smokescreens this time of year. And thatís no limited to coaches. That goes for anyone you speak with. Everyone has an agenda and sometimes telling the truth doesnít help that cause. So, yes, I think you have to be aware that what youíre hearing could be less than truthful.

As far whether who spreads more misinformation between Sean Payton and Bill Belichick, Iím not really sure about that answer. This is my first offseason covering the Saints. Most of what Payton said last week at the owners meetings seemed to be genuine. But if anything in there was a smokescreen, I guess heís spreading more misinformation.

During my four years covering Belichick, heíd just not answer questions. You canít lie if you say nothing.

You mean that we are really trading Drew Brees?

Ok I've posted some stupid stuff over the years but this may have broke the record.

It depend what they say. I am more concern of how the media reports what the caoches (apparently) did or did not say.
If Head Coach (Sir to you) Sean Payton said he likes the valleys of West Virginia, you know I would say that is not misinformation.

Re: Can you believe anything coaches say this time of year?

misinformation oh yeah/ track history proves that very few players the team shows interest in during the draft part of the season are the players they add to the team. small school wonders are the only ones that seem to be for real. after that it the old 'who is on third' skit all over again for all of us and we are Costello

old bait and switch scam at its best

Any head coach who says the truth at this time of year isn't going to remain a head coach for long...

last year Jarius Byrd was going to be our one missing piece

in his first three games he lines up 40 yards off the line of scrimmage

No lies? like this?

Saints to start Jahri Evans, Tim Lelito at guard in 2015 : Fantasy News

Lelito was apparently handed the starting job, as was Ellerbe? Maybe we ARE drafting a QB
