Just know that the toughest opponent Brees must overcome each week is the Saints’ own defense.”

He is one of six quarterbacks with a 70-plus Total QBR score over the past two seasons combined. The other five have won 72.7 percent of their games, posting a 96-36 record. Brees has won just 45.2 percent (14-17 record) despite playing about as well. That is because the Saints’ defense has not just been bad. It has been horrific.”
