Drew Brees came into the OTA and minicamp portion of the offseason with an expectation that Coby Fleener would frequently be an open receiver.
It's what Brees saw on film last year. And it's what he ended up seeing on the New Orleans Saints practice field this spring. Fleener, along with returning receivers Brandin Cooks and Willie Snead, were the three most-targeted players by Brees in the three-day mandatory rookie minicamp that concluded Thursday.
