Are the Saints Player Personnel Soft Under Payton?

I thought they drafted Peat to take over RT. Well, I'm not saying Peat was a great pick, I'm just speculating why they passed on Peters. I guess they were trying to take a can't miss approach with the first pick but we can't tell if they missed or not because they won't use him at the correct position. Maybe they're just trying him out at guard during preseason just to see how he plays there....hopefully. As far as Anthony, I thought I read that he said he wasn't comfortable at MLB and that's why they shifted him over.

Hang on a second. This is a thread asking if the Saints are soft, right? I clearly read your comment on the first page saying the Saints have been soft for years.

And one guy comes in with his usual "I'm above everyone else" type of comment, and now you flip it around and decide that our fan base is as bad or worse than the Falcons?

Not only is that way off base, but it's extremely hypocritical of you.

For the record, I think the team has been soft over the last few years, too. But I'm not going to reverse course because some guy posts a picture of tampons, in a show of incredible originality.

I've never seen the Saints as a black and blue team that's why the whole Bounty-gate deal was so absurd.

That's right....we sign a 32 year old replacement and shift a promising rookie to a different spot.

It gets too much every year, hearing we are shifting players around, draft for your needs. Don't draft a LT if you already have a top 3 LT.

Thats on Dennis Allen and Payton for letting him do it.
