I just don\'t know enough about making a WLB out of him.
I\'ve heard too slow to play S and too small for LB.

I don\'t know. Anyone have any scouting reports that address the issue? The whole Cie Grant thing has me a bit gun shy.

But with that being said, it is a sexy pick. I\'d probably be fired up if we did get him. We could use a few more playmakers. Could he be the next Derrick Brooks?

Several scouts seem to think so. Hopefully for us yes. He also doesn\'t have the injury concerns Cie did. I think he can prob be close to a Roy Williams. Noone is complaining about him.

Strengths: Was a safety in a linebackers body as a junior...Very strong, tough and physical...Excellent athlete...Great size...Has great range...A force in run support...Great instincts...Good tackler...Very productive...Has a lot of upside.
Weaknesses: Raw and still developing...Has only average speed but it is good for his size...Doesn\'t have a lot of experience at safety and may be best suited for linebacker in the pros...May be a bit of a S / OLB \'tweener.
Notes: Has the potential to be great and hasn\'t even begun to reach it yet...Could project to either safety or linebacker at the next level depending on the team and defensive scheme.
I\'ve read elsewhere that scouts think he hasn\'t got any insticts.

No problem whatsoever.

Where did you read he has no instincts?

No I like other players better. Good tackler but not a ball hawk... we need gamebreakers.
