Saints Draft Board
I sent a list of players to a team source and here are the names and round in which the team has them rated as of TODAY:
Quarterbacks: Alex Smith-Utah-1st Charlie Frye-Akron-3rd Jason Campbell-Auburn-3rd Adrian McPherson-Florida State-3rd Kyle Orton-Purdue-5th Runningbacks: JJ Arrington-Cal-2nd Vernand Morency-Ok. State-3rd Alvin Pearman-Virginia-4th Manuel White-UCLA-4th Maurice Clarett-Ohio State-7th Wide Receivers: Chris Henry-W. Virginia-3rd Jerome Mathis-Hampton-3rd Roddy White-UAB-3rd Larry Brackins-Pearl River CC-4th Tab Perry-UCLA-5th Offensive Tackles: Jammal Brown-Oklahoma-1st Alex Barron-Florida State-1st Khalif Barnes-Washington-1st Michael Roos-Eastern Washington-3rd Wesley Britt-Alabama-4th Anthony Alabi-TCU-5th Michael Munoz-Tennessee-7th Outside Linebackers: Derrick Johnson-Texas-1st Shawne Merriman-Maryland-1st Kevin Burnett-Tennessee-1st Thomas Davis-Georgia-2nd DeMarcus Ware-Troy State-2nd Channing Crowder-Florida-2nd Darryl Blackstock-Virginia-3rd Jordan Beck-Cal-Poly-4th Inside Linebackers: Barrett Ruud-Nebraska-1st Odell Thurman-Georgia-2nd Lance Mitchell-Oklahoma-3rd Leroy Hill-Clemson-3rd Robert McCune-Louisville-4th Mike Goolsby-Notre Dame-5th Cornerbacks: Antrel Rolle-Miami-1st Adam Jones-West Virginia-1st Justin Miller-Clemson-1st Carlos Rogers-Auburn-1st Marlin Jackson-Michigan-2nd Bryant McFadden-Florida State-2nd Eric Green-Virginia Tech-2nd Corey Webster-LSU-3rd Antonio Perkins-Oklahoma-4th Stanley Wilson-Stanford-4th Ronald Bartell-Howard-4th Alphonso Hodge-Miami(Oh)-4th Brandon Browner-Oregon State-7th When I look at the list, I know DJ is not there at 16. I'd take Jammal Brown at 16, as he is a true RT. Mayberry could stay at G(his natural position). and at 40, I take Odell Thurman. Thurman is an animal at the MIKE position. While I'd like DJ as my WILL, I think Colby could develop into a very servicable player at the position. He was a bright spot when you consider he was a 7th rounder and not expected to make the team at all. Nice pick up there. I still see a number of options. Still early. |

Saints Draft Board
Crowder played both SAM and MIKE at Florida and many teams feel he is a better strong-side OB than a true MIKE. The Saints happen to rate him as a strong-side backer.

I sent them a list of players that I had taken a liking to through film and talking to scouts and my source sent back the round inwhich they project on the Saints\' draft board currently.
Andrew Walter\'s pro day is tomorrow. I will post his workout info on here once it is sent to me. A live chat sounds fun. I\'m down. |

Adam Terry is a pretty athletic OT. He\'s got good size at 6080, 330, and could project as a RT better than a LT in the NFL. He\'s a bit stiff, but sets a heavy anchor and shows good, solid footwork. He\'s got long arms and gets out front in pass protection. Slides well. He shows the ability to recover on a speed rush. He\'s got some tools. I think he is a late 2nd or high 3rd rounder.
Boley is an athletic LB who can play all three LB spots. Showed well at the combine. Was a productive player in college, but he does struggle shedding blocks. USM blitzed him a lot, so he times them well and is very good at doing that. I like him as a 2nd/3rd rounder as well. Morrison is NOT a good athlete. He struggles moving laterally and doesn\'t show great playing speed. No chance he can cover anyone. I am not really high on him. He was productive, but that is where it starts and ends. 5th round. |

It just seemed like he might have changed his draft status in some way , other then off the field antics .

CanLoomis, a live chat sounds good. Pick a day when you feel you can do it and post it to the board. If you need help let me know.

You\'d have to tell me how it works. I have never done one. Explain to me what you guys want and I am sure it can be worked out sometime soon.
