The QB at #16 Rehash

Many signings have impacted the possibility of Alex Smith or Alex Smith being on the board at #16. At that point it would be a value hard to turn down. Look at these team's situations:

1. SF- you find Rodgers written in here. It isn't a no-brainer however. He and Smith both grade out lower than Manning, Rivers, and Big Ben last year. Braylon Edwards is a surer high impact addition. They have serviceable Rattay and no wideouts. They could still get a Frye, Walter, Campbell, etc. at #33. They would love to trade down but probably won't find a partner since no one is unquestionably #1 with the price attached to it.
2. MIA- The signing of Frerotte along with Feeley who a 2nd was given up for X's them off the list this year. RB fo sho unless they get Alexander or James.
3. CLEV- They really do need someone. You cannot pencil it in though knowing what kind of defensive mind Crennel is. Derrick Johnson or Rolle surer things and are the kind of players defenses are built on.
4. CHI- Commited to Grossman
5. TB- Big money to Griese with Sims in the wings
6. TN- McNair with solid and young Volek backing
7. MINN- Culpepper
8. ARZ- Possible but signing of Warner doesn't enforce that either. Lots of holes to fill. Definitely a top 3 RB over QB if they still need one draft day.
9. WASH- Ramsey declared starter. Signing Brunell last year showed me Gibbs wasn't interested in a 5 year building plan.
10. DET- Still too much invested in Harrington, Garcia ready to save the day
11. DAL- tempting but now more than ever I believe Parcells has the much sooner than later push on. Not a rookie QB lover by any means.
12. SD- Two QB's in the stable already
13. HOU- David Carr
14. CARO- Jake the Snake
15. KC- Trent Green

More possible than you might think now? What about teams trading up to get one at the Titans spot? Not much I could envision. The Packers to replace Farve? They have lost too much and have cap hell already. Baltimore? They traded up for Boller and still have to give him more of a shot. Jammal brown is my favorite more likely pick at #16 but I do not think one of those guys could be turned down that low.
