Re: Potential of Draft Trades/Movement

O.J. Howard still is the pick at 11 IMO. Few players come along with the potential to be a sure thing right out of the gate much less have perennial pro bowler type of ability written all over them. A 6055 TE weighing 251 running a 4.57 is scary. Add in the fact he can block?

Screw position. Screw needs. Screw were in the draft you take them. You gotta make the pick.

If cook gets traded and Byrd is shown the door

- 18 Christian McCaffrey - The Bush/Sproles play book is back in effect

- Pierre Garcon in FA, on a short contract, would replace Cooks skills set and give veteran leadership.

A DC's waking cold sweats nightmare, screaming "which way did he go" "which way did he go" "which way did he go"

Defense heavy the rest of the way, in both the draft and FA.

"We may have lost the game, but you'll be hurting tomorrow." Doug Atkins

Nothing. There is no value in him. Late round pick at best. Keep him around another year and see if he finally gets it. If not then that was a complete waste of a pick.

I will say this with some reservation but I don't think we'll change the linebackers much this year unless we pick one up in FA.

I am a fan of getting Zietler at guard , AJ Klein at LB, IMHO you have to overpay in free agency and if you overpay you should overpay for elite talent both positions are at lower payscale than CB and DE

With the weapons on the outside, I really don't like committing the first rounder to Howard...

If the Saints FO hasn't learned it's lesson by now to get balance on defense and the means a defensive end, a safety, a cornerback, and a linebacker then we deserve another 7-9 season or worse...

We need a defense and not a speed bump...

We don't have a right guard.

We have one starting defensive end, one!

Right Guard can be fixed easier with Free Agency...

And the Draft is the path to fixing Defensive End as the good ones will be cost prohibitive and what's left will be rotational at best...

It's not that my way is the right way, I just make the right way my way...

Re: Potential of Draft Trades/Movement

Hearing rumors that the Saints maybe able to trade up to #1.

We could package Cooks #11 and #3rd next year?

Who the hell is out there worth selling our souls for the #1 pick? I know we've got some new guys in the front office, but with the way we draft? We could as easily pick up a "project" at eleven as we could at number one.

You guys can relax at the linebacker position that's covered by Adam Bighill
