Jimmy Graham return in 2018?

JG will be a UFA next season. He's had the injuries, is getting a bit older, and hasn't produced with Seattle at the level he did with Brees. Any chance we wind up with JG back on the team next season? None of the TEs we have can do what he could (but they can block). I expect he will try to have a statement year this season. It may not happen though.

It's a thought. Probably depends on how bad either side burned bridges during the trade. And money of course.

I always loved Graham's intensity. Just didn't like Bree's propensity to throw to him so much.

I don't see it happening personally. But weirder things have happened. He was much better here then he is in Seattle. Which seems to be case with almost all offensive players that leave NOLA.

I don't see it happening.... last year when they came to the Dome jimmy didn't speak to any reporters and had nothing to say...

I never saw intensity. He was soft and afraid to take hits. He was big and could catch, but intense isn't how I see him. Shocky is a different story.

Actually not, johnny. Fleener only carries a $4.8 million dead cap hit after the 2017 season. His guarantees were front loaded for the most part. We could easily part ways with Fleener after this season with very minimal affect on the overall cap.

I hope he turns it around. I haven't given up on him yet. With the departure of Cooks he really needs to step it up this year.

I haven't either. I'd like to see what Curtis Johnson can do with him. But, we aren't completely tied to him after this season if it doesn't turn out like we hope.

He's old, expensive, and he pissed off SP.
Probably not even a consideration

He's not coming back and I don't want him back. He was a novelty - a one-trick pony. He was good at his one trick but a liability on the field otherwise.

IMO, it is Graham's fault he isn't still with the Saints!

If Graham had blocked like 99.99% of TEs do, and he hadn't tried to squeeze more money out of the Saints when he knew we were in cap hell, the Saints would have probably let Drew walk before him!

I don't think I got it across right but that is what I meant. I expect he will just stay in Seattle. But the negatives are there which could make him less of a hot item in FA and few teams would know how to use him properly as a mismatch receiver. NE could go after him too. We wound up with AP and Ben Watson so I wouldn't count anything out, especially if we make the playoffs this season. It's still one heck of a trick.

It's just that Drew forgets anyone else can catch his passes when Jimmy's on the field. Other than that and his getting injured more and more frequently, I have no problem with him.

And no I can't do a lot of what he can, but I'd bet he'd be pretty lost in doing what I do as well.

We need a TE not a WR. Jimmy wants to be a WR. He's not even worth considering. Burned bridges and all that.........

Jimmy Dickens back in Black and Gold? I highly doubt it.

I can remember him throwing fuel to the fire by openly congratulating players that left New Orleans via Twitter. This alone I give him zero chance. I don't even think he shook hands with any former players after the Seattle/Saints game. Bad sign. Jimmy was so ticked off by the trade that I wouldn't be surprised if he eventually signs on with Carolina or Atlanta once his time is up in Seattle.

It was fun while it lasted in the N.O. though.

Graham a dirty bird? That'd be almost as bad as when Morten Andersen did it, though Mora was to blame for that stupid scheiße...But to sign with a team to spite another is also some pretty stupid scheiße in and of itself...
