Have no problem with the fact the guy may have been beaten out, but when you combine both those issues, there may be a problem with another @sshole on the team that's not warranted...
If I recall, he got a boatload of tackles but he was also outta position often and missed a boatload of coverages giving up big plays and first downs. And teams targeted him in the passing game all season.
He's got the physical talents but it remains to be seen if he's got enough goin on upstairs to play in the NFL.

Don't have a problem moving on, but I know there's more to this than hanging this out there that Stephone Anthony can't read/react...

Anthony was the first Saint rookie linebacker to record 100+ tackles since Dome Patrol Legend Rickey Jackson...

Besides leading all NFL rookies in tackles, Stephone also returned and scored the first blocked kick for 2pts in NFL history...

It's simple - Stephone Anthony's decline coincides with Dennis Allen becoming the Defensive Coordinator...

Dennis Allen needs to extricate his head from his @ss and find a way to make this work with Anthony...

If not, this is on Sean Payton and the Mickster to reclaim their reps as competent NFL Personnel People...

They've got to get these two on the same page as the Saints need Anthony's first round talent on the field...

Working for them, not another team, against them...
THANK YOU!! Knew I wasnt the only one. Never understood the SA bashing around here

Where are those stats? Missed tackles and assignments? I hear alot of you say that but I dont see them as often as some of you make it seem. If you could show a compilation of "blown assignments" by SA that would be awsome. Because Anzalone has blown plenty of coverages this preseason at least for the number snaps he recieved.

Re: Saints believe 'it won't be too long' before Stephone Anthony returns

I am happy to read many feel the same way I do. To play as great as he did his rookie season and change him to strong lb which minimize his time on the field doesn't make any sense. Bring in Laurinaitis to play mlb (by game 2 it was obvious his tank was dry) still didn't make a change to SA. With the new lb coach, I thought for certain he will have his opportunity. Now we have injuries and suspicious doctors with false diagnosis. At this point I am hoping SA get traded so he can at least get opportunity to resurrect his career if DA is black balling him.

I think Klein is better for the unit as a whole but not to develop SA for 2 season after that stellar rookie season something is fishy. If I was Loomis I would be pissed
