Draft Buzz: Saints Could Trade Up For QB

Draft Buzz: Saints seeking to trade up in draft for QB? - NFL.com

I keep hearing how much the Saints wanted Mahomes last year. If that's the case, why not just go get him on the cheap, since he'll likely be available soon. Let's win now by picking up a few missing pieces in this draft. I think the team has done a good job in free agency and really only need a couple of improvements on defense and perhaps another OL and one 'toy' for Payton.

I agree, but we didn't think Ditka was Ditka until it happened.

I'm not impressed with this QB class. All the talking heads say that there is not a gold jacket among them and that several will be out of the NFL in just a few years. I'm wondering if Payton has his eyes on a young QB still in college or possibly high school.

Don't get the rush for a QB. Pats are in the same boat. They traded away their rising superstar, not even worried about it. Bet they grab a QB late and load up on defense.
