He's going to have a great season with a great secondary. I have a really good feeling about our defense. Payton does too. Did you notice how often we won the toss that we deferred the kick last season? And we look even better this year.

Hopefully it isn't Drew getting old and no backup ABs that is making the secondary look great. Forget I said this.

Won't matter. Drew is such a gamer I'd be confident in him leading this team from a wheel chair.

The secondary is looking good because the entire defense from front to back has better personnel, front to back. Just wait to see how bad they make inferior QB's look this season.
