Saints cornerback P.J. Williams named NFC Defensive Player of the Week

Thielen is the best WR in the NFL right now. Still had over 100 yds but, it was the 2nd least amount to date. Expecting more out of PJ in that situation is asking for a miracle. He was going to get burned. He did but also redeemed himself so I will take it and run.

Ummm...it wasn't just Theilen. Diggs tore him up as well. If Cousins didn't throw the ball RIGHT to PJ and actually threw it to Diggs, PJ would have been burned again. The write up from rotoworld says it like it is. Him and Crawley are 2 peas in a pod. Neither NEVER turn there head, they are always 2 steps behind, which results in PI's because they are just running through the receivers. Happy he got an award but I can not imagine he is proud of it, if he is being honest with himself.

Really? I mean it's great and all but they abused him all day and he got somewhat lucky on a miscommunication.

In his coverage he allowed 8 for 8, 112 yards and 2 TD's.

yeah basically that was all set up by the rush and he was really bad all game

I was cussing at him and Payton all the first half wondering why Crawley was not active instead of him. He is terrible but I have to admit he made up for it. I don't understand why Vikings quit throwing to whoever he was covering but im glad they did.

It's very unfortunate that our true slot guy is on IR. Anyone remember last year who manned the slot vs the Rams? ... Kenny V and it was fugly.

I hope PJ has had a good week of film study, practice & treatment because those passes (Woods is a slot guy on 1st down) will be coming his way all day.

Time to get it.

He had decent coverage on some really great catches. Maybe he won't be a liability the rest of the season from the slot. I'm surprised......but I miss P Rob!
