Started a 2019 Depth Chart so that we can see the "needs/holes" the team has and look to where we might expect further moves (e.g. free agents, trades, draft pick)...
Shared with Chris, especially for those who haven't learned to code*, you can quote the post, delete the bracketed code before and ending the quote and update a roster change (e.g. player, number, status)... Know there other sites (e.g. Our Lads, ESPN, CBS Sports) that have depth charts, but we try to be a little quicker and more accurate/relative to our team than the national talking heads... Anyways, I enjoy doing it and hope others would feel free as it's for all here... *PS I actually started to refresh my HTML and other markup code skills here on this site... |

Great job jp! I can't wait for the update for a new O-lineman or two. I like Clapp and Tom but not enough to trust them to protect Drew. We have a good run game when our o-line is healthy.....the thing is we never play the same five from game to game.
It was obvious we needed better depth towards the end of the season. We have invested heavily in the O-line recently and it has paid off big dividends....don't stop now.

Talked to a couple "professional-types" around the team, and they tell me Clapp just needs to get functionally stronger, discipline his technique. He's about a year or two away from Strief's skill-set... Tom has good size, but also needs to get a lot stronger and break some bad technique habits... But it's Armstead's availability, pain-tolerance I don't trust. And Peat needs to fully recoup and be allowed to play one position, or be traded and/or extended to get his cap number down... We really need another two veterans on this offensive line - I like G Ted Karras (RFA NE), Matt Feiler (ERFA PIT) and I'd part with a Day 3 pick for the latter... |
