Saints must really believe in him. Despite all his drama they stuck by him and he is now activated this weeks.
Is he really that talented though or are we just desperate?

There is no doubt about the talent. I'm still sceptic to his character thou.

I would think its more adding to the depth. After Jordan, Davenport and Hendrickson the shelf is awfully bare.

Seriously speaking though, coming out of college he was projected as a "depth role" player.

Needs to add more bulk, power and coaching up.

In saying all of that, I think the coaches are really high on Carl. By elevating him to the roster, they didn't want to risk any chance of him going else where.

Jordan, Davenport, Hendrickson and Granderson would be a good group of pass rushers. That type of lineup worked for the Giants back in the day.
